Kangaroo Jack

MPAA Rating: PG
Distributor: Warner Bros. Pictures
Director: David McNally
Actors: Jerry O’Connell as Charlie Carbone; Anthony Anderson as Louis Fucci; Estella Warren as Jessie; Michael Shannon as Frankie the Vermin; Christopher Walken as Sal Maggio; Marton Csokas as Mr. Smith.

Louis Fucci and Charlie Carbone are best friends—although nothing goes right when they’re together. When the pair end up in a stolen vehicle filled with TVs, they inadvertently lead police to a mafia warehouse filled with stolen merchandise. Big problem—Charlie’s stepdad Sal Maggio is the mob boss. To make up for the mistake, Sal tricks Louis and Charlie to going to Australia to deliver $50,000 (but really Louis and Charlie are going there to be killed). What ensues is fast-paced and high-action as Louis and Charlie try to stay away from contract killer Mr. Smith and New York City hit man Frankie the Vermin, and attempt to find the kangaroo wearing a jacket containing the $50,000.

How this movie didn’t get a PG-13 rating is completely baffling. There’s lots of violence, fighting, guns, bad language and drinking. Plus, the adult humor, crude jokes and romantic kisses have no place in a kids' movie. It’s probably best to hop away from Kangaroo Jack.
